Located 2 Kilometres south of the village of Rosário, in the most eastern part of Portugal’s Alentejo province, is the Dutch managed, small scale rural campsite Camping Rosário. Set among our olive grove we have created a number of well shaded pitches. From most of the pitches you have an unspoiled view over the surrounding fields and the water of the Alqueva Lake. The campsite borders a branch of this lake where fishing and canoeing are some of the possibilities.
The campsite is open to the public from March 1st until October 1st. All pitches are suited to motor homes, trailers and tents, and have their own 6 Amp. electric point. The sanitary block is equipped with separate hot showers, lavatories, chemical disposal and the option of doing laundry and washing up.
In the shade of the farmhouse veranda and the orange trees on the ajacent terrace you find a WiFi zone completely free of charge.
